Laboratory of Experimental Plant Biology was established at the Institute of Biology in December 2014 in connection with the restructuring of the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry of the University of Bialystok.
The Laboratory aims to:
- study of physiological, biochemical, genetic and morphological modifications of model and crop plants under the conditions of environmental stress
- study of the acclimatization mechanisms of the photosynthetic apparatus to stress factors
- study of mechanisms increasing the availability and intensity of nitrogen and phosphorus uptake by plants
The apparatus functioning within theLaboratory of Experimental Plant Biology was obtained from the subsidy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education No. 8636 / E 342 / R / 2014 of July 31, 2014 "Restructuring of the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry".
