The Department of Zoology and Genetics has operated since the establishment of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Białystok, specifically from October 1, 2019, as an international team conducting innovative ecological and genetic research, testing significant scientific hypotheses, and publishing in prestigious journals with international collaborators, while also achieving national and international recognition in science popularization.
