The 15th edition of the Night of Biologists will take place nationwide on 16 January 2026. This year’s theme is “Biology Full of Signals – Discover How Life Speaks.” The problem of global climate change and its impact on our lives is becoming increasingly well understood, and awareness of the threats is now widespread. What do natural scientists think about this? How does climate change affect our lives, as well as plants, animals, and even microorganisms? If you would like to learn more, you are warmly invited!

On Friday, 16 January, the 15th Night of Biologists will begin at the Faculty of Biology, UwB (Ciołkowskiego 1J, UwB Campus). As every year, our staff, PhD candidates, and students have prepared a wide range of activities for both younger and older participants. There will be lectures, workshops, and demonstrations. Some events require prior registration; however, many activities (with a continuously updated list) are available without advance booking. Participation in all exhibitions, lectures, and workshops organized by the Faculty of Biology is free of charge.
