The study visit is dedicated to entities representing the Podlaskie Smart Specialisations (SS), including researchers employed at universities and research and development institutions in the medical and life sciences sectors, as well as representatives of small, medium-sized, and large enterprises located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
The programme of the visit includes, among others:
a visit to the Medical Technology Cluster Medizintechnik-Cluster (MTC) in Linz,
a visit to the University of Vienna,
a visit to the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT),
a visit to the MedAustron research centre,
business meetings offering opportunities to establish cooperation with international partners.
During the visit, meetings will be held with international economic partners conducting research and development (R&D) and manufacturing activities in the medical and life sciences sectors, as well as in sectors linked along the value chain, including ICT in connection with the core sector, in line with the smart specialisations of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The visit will take place on 17–21 November 2025.
