Whole plants, their parts, and fibers - shaped in the hands of teacher and basketry artist Adam Pliszko - reveal their properties and unique character. For workshop participants, this is both the curiosity of researchers and admiration for a craft that, at its roots, connects nature with human needs.
Common club-rush, broadleaf cattail, dandelion, ribwort plantain, yellow pine, and black cherry become baskets, small baskets, pouches, holiday decorations, bowls, phone cases, coasters, and much more.
We invite you to the next workshops in January, featuring new plant species!
