The scope and methodology of the research is concerned with yeast from the genera Malassezia, Candida and Saccharomycesas as well as different cancer cell lines. We conduct analysis of lipid composition, protein comparison and cell viability in different object of our research.
Research topics:
1. Mechanisms of functioning and regulation of key enzymes isolated from animal tissues and yeast.
2. Studies of enzymes derived from the tissues of various animal species in the aspect of adapting their metabolism to environmental conditions.
3. Research on protein and lipid profile of genetic related yeasts.
4. Comparisons of effects of vit. B1 derivatives and mechanisms of their action in different opportunistic yeast cells (Malassezia, Candida) as well as cancer cells.
5. Analysis of lipid and protein composition, of various strains of opportunistic yeast.
